ABOUT

ECE 196 is supported and taught by a team comprised of Professor Truong Nguyen (ECE Chair), TA's and tutors. These mentors are passionate about engineering and are engaged in bringing hands-on engineering to UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering. TA's and tutors have been heavily involved with PiB and continue to help meet the needs of students and industry in their development of projects. Their mission to help train the next generation of engineers to balance theory with practice has motivated their continuing involvement to change the ECE curriculum.

Truong Nguyen
Professor

Professor Nguyen is the instructor for the course and is currently the ECE Chair. Professor Nguyen's goal for course is to bring the "E" back to ECE and help students gain the skills necessary to be well-equipped for industry.

Phuong Truong
Lead TA (Section 1)

Phuong is a fourth-year graduate student in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department. Her long term goals are to impact education and education policy. She is currently the project manager of the Project-in-a-Box team. 

ECE 196 Tutors

ECE 196 would not be the same without its dedicated tutors. They are the backbone of educating and mentoring the students in ECE 196.
